Robert Wakeling (CEO) founded Wadaro after a poor experience when contacting his service providers Customer Care Department about the lack of radio coverage in his house. Despite his provider stating that service was ‘good’ in the location, Robert had zero signal. This poor experience and research amongst contacts in the mobile industry was the catalyst for establishing the company.Get Started with Wadaro
Our team has significant experience in a range of technology-lead organisations, with a focus on the mobile telecommunications sector. Drawn from global organisations and small start-up companies, this mix of corporate expertise together with early-stage entrepreneurial skills positions us ideally to create innovative solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
Robert has over 40 years of experience in Software Product Development and was previously CTO of magic4 (a company acquired by Openwave Inc in 2004). He founded Wadaro following a disagreement with his mobile service provider about the lack of radio coverage at his house. Robert’s interests outside of the workplace include family, friends, classic cars, and endeavours to settle on the Moon and Mars.
With strong direct and channel sales, partner relationships, team management and interpersonal communication skills, David’s career has included various roles in a global banking corporation and Channel Development Manager for a global multi-national technology company. In addition, he was Country Manager & Global Sales Director for a ‘Set-Top-Box’ / Internet Company, and has held various roles with start-up business ventures. Outside of the work environment David runs, cycles, plays drums (aka makes a lot of noise) in a pop/rock band and in his words is a ‘very average golfer’.
