Our team here at Wadaro are all highly experienced and talented individuals
with a long track record in the mobile telecommunications industry. Our expertise
covers various aspects of product development ranging from concept and ideas all the
way through to implementation on-site with our customers. Strong management and highly effective use of process and best practice has led the team to deliver high quality products in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Relevant experience stems from senior positions in companies such as Nokia, Openwave and Magic4 so commercial expertise ranges from the requirements of a start-up through to that of a multinational.
Robert Wakeling, Chief Executive Officer
Robert is
the founder of Wadaro and has been principle in early business development, in securing support from partners, advisors and financiers. Prior to Wadaro, Robert held senior management positions at Openwave Inc. (NASDAQ:OPWV) and Magic4 Limited (acquired by OPWV) and has in excess of 20 years experience in technology product companies.
Rayna Dean, FCA – Chairman & Chief Financial Officer
Rayna is a former partner in Price Waterhouse and, in 1998 she became the only non-chemist executive director of Ultrafine (UFC Ltd). Rayna grew Ultrafine from 15 to 80 employees, raising venture capital, instituting accounting and costing systems, risk management procedures, robust contracting and corporate governance. Following a successful all-cash exit in 2004, Rayna has undertaken strategic consultancy, non-executive directorships and chairs a number of VC backed companies.
Dave Booth, Executive Director
Dave is a seasoned telecommunications industry executive with 40 years of domestic and international experience gained from within network operator businesses. His broad range of leadership encompasses the successful implementation of long-term architecture roadmaps for radio, core, transport, products and services, BSS, OSS and device alignment. His responsibilities have included general management of pre-pay and 3G for O2 and has delivered significant infrastructure across the O2 Group (UK, Ireland, Germany and Holland).
